A warm and friendly, child-focused pre-school with dedicated, experienced staff, registered with Ofsted No. 219979 and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We are a community ministry based at Brackley Baptist Church and meet during term time from 9.00am to 12.00 noon Monday to Friday. We welcome all children aged from 2 years and 6 months.
Little Fishes Playtime is an outreach into the community of Brackley and surrounding villages.
Not only does the outreach serve children, it also serves parents, grandparents, child minders and other carers, a great place for people to come and meet, build relationships, seek support and friendship.
There is space for up to 30 children in each session, part way through the session there is 'snack time' (water/juice and a biscuit - or bring your own) and tea/coffee for adults.
We have various 'play zones' - a large ride on area that is separated from the rest of the sections, some table top toys and a variety of floor toys and activities in a carpeted area. There is also a baby area with soft toys, matting and baby chairs. Each session ends with a led 'singing time' that is very interactive and a great way to end the time together.
The sessions are staffed by volunteers from Brackley Baptist Church.
As well as the sessions there are also connections between the group and Little Fishes Pre-School (that also meets daily in an adjoining area of the church building), Brackley Foodbank and other support groups in the town.
Two sessions run on a Tuesday morning, the first from 9.15 until 10.30 and the second from 10.45 till Noon.
Each session costs £2 per adult including refreshment, children are free.
Brackley Baptist Church is a friendly, family orientated contemporary church. Our services are dynamic and easy to follow. You will find them informal with a relaxed dress code and a mix of contemporary and well-loved traditional songs.
